Our Beaver Scouts celebrated 30 years of Beaver Scouting in style at the Greater Manchester West Carnival camp which took place at Middlewood Scout Campsite on 18th & 19th June 2016.  The carnival theme was well embraced and everyone had a great time learning circus tricks, riding the various fairground rides, challenging themselves at crazy golf, racing through inflatable assault courses and trying their hand at many carnival stalls & games.  A full day of activities ended in a traditional campfire before everyone retired to their sleeping bags, exhausted but happy.  The second day of the camp saw all the Beaver Scouts from across the County creating their own carnival hats, masks and banners which they used in the parade. A party wouldn't have been a party without a giant game of pass the parcel(s), music, dancing and some party food.
