On Friday 27th January, 36 cubs took part in a Cardboard City Sleepover at the Scout Hut

To make it as realistic as possible, Cubs were only allowed to bring a pillow, sleeping bag and roll mat. They weren't allowed to bring a change of clothes/underwear or any toiletries.

The sleepover was a sponsored event and ALL of the money that the Cubs raise will go to Atherton & Leigh Shelter for HoPe who provide night shelter for homeless people.

As well as making their own cardboard shelters to sleep in, the Cubs also ran their own soup kitchen and made homemade vegetable soup. They were visited by Warren Done from Atherton & Leigh Shelter for HoPe and two volunteers from Coffee4Craig.
