On 29th and 30th April, the Tuesday and Wednesday Beavers visited Leigh Fire Station.  They learnt lots of fire facts about safety and the special equipment the fire fighters use.  We got to try on a fire fighter's uniform - it was rather big! And we got to see inside the fire engines.  Perhaps the best bit was using the hose - it was REALLY powerful and the water could shoot high into the air!

A big thank you to Stuart, Chris, Bob and John for telling us all about your jobs and showing us round!
