5th Tyldesley's first ever Family Camp was a great success!  We had lots of activities planned to give the parents a taste of life on Scout Camp. It was great to see the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts share their Scouting skills and experiences with with parents.  The schedule included rafting, fire lighting, pioneering, an obstacle course, crate stacking, a scavenger hunt, orienteering and a craft competition. Everyone entered into the true spirit of Scouting and tried their hand at the various activities with good humour. After cooking our own meals on open fires Saturday evening everyone was in good voice for songs around the camp fire.  We hope the parents and children enjoyed the camp as much as the Leaders did... Family Camp 2015 is already in the planning! :-)
